Photography is a tool that has many uses.  It can be used to express yourself artistically, to capture a beautiful moment in time, or simply to remember an event with some friends.

I try to have a camera with me always because I never know when my eye will catch what seems to be painted right there in front of me on a canvas, just waiting for me to shoot it.  The notion of capturing a moment in time is amazing and beautiful to me.  We may see a beautiful scene in front of us and think to ourselves that it is beautiful, but we soon forget that it ever occurred.  I shutter at the thought of how many of these beautiful scenes that I have seen over the course of my life, and then forgotten forever.  I seem to have found a solution in photography.
